WHAT IS C95 PYROLYTIC COAL?
Pyrolytic charcoal is a plant-based fuel obtained by pyrolysis of wood in the absence of oxygen, a process that eliminates impurities and increases the carbon concentration.
C95 is a premium coal with up to 95% carbon, dust-free, and low smoke. Compared to traditional coals (70–80% carbon), it offers superior performance, clean combustion, minimal smoke, and optimal thermal control.
Made from FSC-certified acacia wood, it is a sustainable and high-performance choice for restaurants, charcoal ovens and professional cooking enthusiasts.HOW THE C95 IS MADE
C95 is born from an advanced pyrolysis process in bioreactors powered by renewable energy such as photovoltaics and biomass.
Acacia mimosa wood is heated between 700°C and 900°C in the absence of oxygen, eliminating volatile substances and concentrating the carbon in pure form.
After pyrolysis, the coal is dedusted and calibrated, achieving a homogeneous particle size ideal for efficient and consistent combustion. The result is an eco-friendly, high-performance coal, produced with virtually zero environmental impact.ENERGY AND CALORIFIC VALUE OF C95
C95 offers a calorific value of 9.16 kWh/kg, significantly higher than common charcoal (6–7 kWh/kg).
This means more heat for the same weight, quick ignitions and stable temperatures.
A 5 kg bag releases approximately 45 kWh of energy, equivalent to the average electricity consumption of a home for 2 days.
Ideal for professional kitchens and high-performance grills, the C95 guarantees maximum efficiency and lower consumption.FIXED CARBON AND COOKING QUALITY
Fixed carbon determines the duration and stability of combustion.
In C95 it reaches record values of 92–95%, compared to 60–70% for common coals.
This ensures longer cooking times, constant heat and a clean flame, with less smoke and zero thermal peaks.
Perfect for those looking for control, uniformity and precision in cooking, even in prolonged or high-temperature preparations.SUSTAINABILITY AND SAFETY OF THE C95
C95 is an ecological and safe charcoal, produced with 100% renewable energy and FSC wood from sustainable harvests.
Thanks to the low content of volatile substances (8.7%), ash (2.5%) and nitrogen (0.40%), it guarantees clean combustion free of toxic fumes.
Compared to traditional coals, C95 reduces emissions and environmental impacts, offering a responsible, high-performance and healthy alternative for sustainable catering.
